March 6, 2017

Atrium is pleased to announce University of Georgia (UGA) selected Atrium to provide its next generation UGA Card campus card solution.

Chartered by the state of Georgia in 1785, the University of Georgia is the birthplace of public higher education in America — launching our nation’s great tradition of world-class education for all. One of America’s “Public Ivies” and a top 10 best value in public higher education, the University of Georgia tackles some of the world’s grand challenges — from combating infectious disease and securing the world’s food supply to advancing economic growth and analyzing the environment. With its comprehensive reach, the university’s 17 colleges and schools enroll 36,000 students.

The University of Georgia Atrium solution comprises over 50,000 cardholders and fourteen best-in-breed systems, including twenty (20) new ColorID Iris Scanners (dining), Tapingo (online food ordering and delivery), Datacard (card production), USATech and MEI (vending), Banner (student information system), PeopleSoft (ERP), WEPA (print/copy), Follett (bookstore), ITC Kiosk, UGA Identity Management (single sign on), Point of Sale and JSA StudentLink (online account management).

Tammy Johnson, President & CEO of Atrium, said of the partnership, “University of Georgia is a prestigious institution and runs one of the largest campus card programs in the nation. We are very excited to work with them to provide their next generation campus card solution. UGA recognized Atrium as a modern, non-proprietary, cloud hosted campus card solution that will allow them to both reduce costs and improve cardholder services by replacing their legacy card system.”
